About the event

*Announcement*

Unfortunately, due to Severn Tunnel being flooded, Lama Zangmo is not able to get to Cardiff, so with apologies, we have changed the program for Saturday 21th Oct.

We will be showing two films by Professor Rob Nairn, who was one of the pioneers of mindfulness and Tibetan Buddhism in the West. Rob recently passed away, so in honour of Rob, we will be showing both of these videos:

  1. The Psychology of Meditation
  2. The Psychology of Buddhism

There will be time for questions and answers, as well as guided sitting practice. Our kitchen is well stocked with soup, and plenty of tea and coffee is available.

The starting and ending times will remain the same for Saturday 21th. However, we will cancel the program for Sunday 22th. Should you wish to cancel, please get in touch with us.

Thank you.

For centuries Tibetans have used a series of fifty-nine slogans as a skillful method for training the mind and cultivating limitless compassion.

Using the text The Great Path of Awakening, which contains clear, precise instructions, Lama Zangmo will give instructions with emphasis on using the practice to meet ordinary life situations with intelligence and loving kindness.

This course is suitable for both Buddhists and non-Buddhists alike.

Seating numbers are limited, so please book your cushions soon.

Donation on top of the tickets will be gratefully received, so we can continue to provide you with more courses like this.
