About the event
Join our sangha to just chant and meditate on the Medicine Buddha mantra:
“Tayata Om, Bekandze Bekandze, Maha Bekandze, Radza Samudgate Soha”
It means “May the many sentient beings who are sick, be freed from sickness soon. And may all the sicknesses of beings never arise again.”
The Medicine Buddha puja purifies and heals on all levels: physical, mental, spiritual, and environmental. It is considered particularly powerful for people who are sick or have recently died, and for bringing both temporal success and the ultimate success of enlightenment.
How to join
- This is a free drop-in event, open to all, donations are welcome.
- If you arrive early while Green Tara Puja is in process, you are welcome to wait in our Tibetan cafe.
